International Attendees
International Invitation Letters
Upon request, TMLS issues International Invitation Letters to international attendees wishing to attend the convention. International Invitation Letters will be available in the April 2026.
Please fill out THIS FORM to submit your request. The TMLS team will be sure to respond within 4 business days.
TMLS cannot accept any responsibility for Visa applications, nor will it influence the processing of Visas. Please note that it may take Canadian Embassies/Consulates three (3) months to process a Visa application. Applicants must check with their respective authorities to determine exact processing requirements. For more information about Canadian government requirements for visitors and contact information for Visa offices, visit www.cic.gc.ca.
Where an attendee is unable to attend the convention because of their failure to obtain a Visa, the cancellation policy for registration fees will apply.

NEW – Biometrics (Global Expansion)
Depending on your nationality, you may be required to give your biometrics:
Starting July 31, 2018 the biometric requirement becomes mandatory for nationals of Europe, Middle East and Africa, and
Starting December 31, 2018 the biometric requirement becomes mandatory for nationals of Asia, Asia Pacific and the Americas.

Visa Letter Acknowledgement
The Toronto Machine Learning Society will issue your visa support letter based solely on the information you provide in this form. It is your responsibility to ensure all details are accurate and complete. TMLS is not responsible for any errors or omissions resulting from incorrect information submitted.
A visa support letter is provided as a courtesy to registered attendees and speakers and does not constitute a guarantee of visa approval. The decision to grant a visa rests entirely with the relevant immigration authorities. TMLS has no involvement in or influence over the visa adjudication process, and we are unable to intervene on your behalf or be held responsible for any outcome.
Please also note that processing times and visa timelines are outside of our control. We strongly encourage you to apply well in advance of the event.
